Excellent, personal, friendly and professional! My sisters and I sold my late father’s house through Chilton Real Estate. Carol Johnson had been highly recommended to us, and she and her highly professional team certainly did not disappoint. Right from the start Carol inspired confidence – she also did not give overblown promises of an unrealistic price just to get the listing! Carol was friendly, caring and sensitive to we three sisters, who were struggling with the emotional side of selling our father's beloved home. Overall we had a great experience throughout the marketing and auction process. I would whole heartedly recommend Chilton Real Estate to anyone who is ready to sell their house. Thank you Carol, you are a star!

Carol demonstrated in the sale of my property that she has a great understanding of the market in my area. She showed great professionalism, judgement and negotiation skills in the sale of my property and I can't recommend her highly enough. I would have no hesitation in using her service again in the future. Young Street, Wahroonga

Carol Johnson was not just our Real Estate Agent, she quickly became someone we could trust and rely upon. Selling a house is a daunting experience and you need someone who is professional, experienced and above all honest. Carol has all these qualities and more. She was able to guide us through the whole process in a manner which was comfortable, effortless and above all successful. Thank you for going above and beyond on our behalf, you are truly a remarkable Real Estate Agent and we highly recommend you to anyone looking to make this daunting experience easy and effortless.

We originally purchased our Wahroonga property back in 2012, with Carol acting as the sellers agent. We would have got her to be our rental manager at the time, but her business was moving away from providing this service back then.

We searched for a long period to buy our current property, missed out on other places at auctions and have also previously owned a unit in Neutral Bay. So we've had dealings with a number of both rental and sellers agents. Carol has easily been the most diligent and professional.

We’ve lived overseas since 2002, with a small stint back home in the middle for a few years. The difficulty we found being away with a rental property is the amount of ongoing work required. Ultimately you need an agent that understands the place and suburb to attract the right tenants, has access to good tradesman and will resolve issues sufficiently.

Our experience with bigger agencies was mixed. The initial rental agent wasn’t satisfactory at all, but our last one did a decent job. Most just have a very large rental book, so sometimes things tended to fall through the cracks. Ultimately we needed work on our pool fence and may look at selling in the future. It might be we decide to keep the property, but we just wanted Carol and her team to manage it either way given we trust her to do it well.

Carol Johnson managed the sale of our property 44 Lochville Street Wahroonga in 2016. At this time we had already relocated to South Australia and had tenants in the property. Carol was required to negotiate with the tenants through the preparation and sale of the property. She arranged for the gardens to be cleaned up and for a stylist to get the house back up to sale standard. Price negotiations then needed to be done via email and phone. I could not be happier with the help and support we received from Carol. She went above and beyond for us in a difficult situation. I was confident that the house was presented beautifully, proved as we received a very good sale outcome. Everything was done with a minimum of fuss. I have no hesitation in recommending Carol to future clients. She is professional and extremely competent.

Carol and Caroline at Chilton Real Estate are amazing. They are hard-working, professional and always willing to go above and beyond. I highly recommend them. We had a property on the market with a leading big Real Estate agency who failed us on so many levels and had our house vacant for months with mismanagement. We switched to Chilton and in less than a week they had more people viewing our property than had been through in 2 months. It took only a week for them to secure us lovely new tenants.

We are happy tenants of a home leased through Chilton. Not only were they friendly and helpful during the leasing process, they have happily attended to whatever maintenance or other issues we have found in the home since then.
A. Ratnapala - Tenant
Above and beyond customer service. Quick responses, friendly, and determined to make our experience a good one! Love these ladies. Highly recommend.
C. Alderman - Tenant
A small friendly and professional real estate agent with a personal touch. In my dealings with the company as a tenant, any issues are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. I am happy to recommend
J. Franks - Tenant
Carol and Caroline are highly professional. I have known Carol for many years and she is the most empathic, kind and wonderful real estate agent. I have used her services several times and would recommend her and the team to everyone. They are truly amazing and can’t do enough for their clients.
A. Marsh - Landlord
We rented a house in Turramurra that was managed by Chilton Real Estate. Caroline and Carol were both very professional and were very prompt in arranging repairs to our property. We were new to Australia and they were very helpful in helping us understand rubbish pickup, schools, and utility services.
D. Peterson - Tenant
The Chilton real estate agents Carol & Caroline have been very efficient and professional with their services and customer support. I highly rate this organisation as they are trust worthy and friendly.
A. Zhang - Tenant
We moved from a large franchise office to Chilton recently. We had quite a bad experience with them and living overseas makes things only makes things even more difficult when there are problems you really have to rely on the agent for everything. Our main issues were related to communication, but also how they took care of maintenance to our property and how well they managed requests and issues raised by the tenants. We also felt that they were quite lazy when it came to finding a tenant, not using their network and allocating quite junior employees to the task.   Caroline and Carol from Chilton on the other hand have been fantastic, not only making sure to look after the tenants, but also communicating regularly and clearly with us whenever it has been required or when we have asked questions. They have been very pro-active in solving issues as they arise, finding at times pragmatic solutions to keep cost under control.  All in all a much easier agency to deal with than our previous one. They also appear to have a good network of contacts to help find tenants, a much stronger view of the value of the property but at the same time are not afraid to advise you where a property could be improved to get a better tenant.
A. Hillier - Landlord
As an owner who lives overseas we found we were just a number and no real care taken with the larger agencies, also we always seemed to be handled by a junior level employee who changed every year and made mistakes, just asked for decisions, and gave no advice.  With Chilton you have someone very senior/experienced handling your property, giving good advice, recommending good contractors and will take initiative when things go wrong and you can’t be reached. I could not give a firmer recommendation for Carol and Caroline at Chilton!
D. Moloney - Landlord
We have recently sold a property with Chilton Real Estate. We found Carol and Caroline the biggest help and hands on. This was so unexpected and very much appreciated. They handled some sticky situations with the utmost discression and were very patient. I have sold properties before and the agents have never left an impression on me. I will never forget the help given to us from these two ladies, and they feel more like friends than business acquaintances
L. Peuter - 140 Grosvenor Street, North Wahroonga
Carol and Caroline ensured that we got excellent tenants as well as market rent. I would highly recommend Chilton RE if you have a rental property that you want managed well. Carol and Caroline know the local area well and takes a hands on, personal approach that achieves outstanding results.

An estate agent you can trust – My father and I first met Carol Johnson in 2010, when she offered to appraise Dad’s house. A person of great integrity, she made a very favourable impression on both of us. Dad said that he wasn’t contemplating selling at that time, but if he ever did, he would appoint her as his estate agent. At no time did she ever pester us, or ask if we were ready to sell. My brother met Carol about a year ago, and was also impressed by her knowledge and skills. Unfortunately, my father’s affairs were placed under the jurisdiction of a trustee company, which, although my brother and I wanted Carol to sell the house and both put it in writing, the trustees wanted to appoint their own agent. Carol had to do a lot of work to convince them she was the best person for the position. Carol goes the extra mile to help her clients; her husband even cleaned Dad’s pool every day just before the house was open for inspection. She was prepared to give directions with clearing the house and even came around to see how we were getting on. I would highly recommend Carol Johnson as a very professional and honest real estate agent, who works extremely hard for her clients. Kudos to Carol on the sale of 10 Cherry Street Warrawee!
A. Spencer - 10 Cherry Street, Warrawee
Passion, knowledge and experience resulted in a great outcome – Carol Johnson has a great passion for her work and she knows our suburb exceptionally well. We felt we were in safe and expert hands at every stage of our sales process. We rate Carol’s organisation skills highly. Everything she promised was delivered on time, including a great sales result. We remain very pleased with our choice of Carol Johnson to sell our home, she did a fantastic job, exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend her unhesitatingly.
M. Narborough & G. Narborough - 32 Scullin Place, North Wahroonga
Carol Johnson took on the task of selling our home in Wahroonga in 2015. We were not quite ready to downsize our large ’empty nest’ but saw no harm in gauging the market interest. Over the next few months we held many discussions to explore the best ways to market our rather unique property locally and overseas. The strategy, which we finally adopted, proved very successful. Carol’s professional and thorough approach to very focused marketing, with skilled use of video and photography, including spectacular aerial drone footage, created a very professional online sales presentation which proved quite irresistible to the prospective buyers and allowed Carol to bring to the table her previous experience in understanding the needs of international buyers and the ability to access the large pool of cashed up prospects. The launch of the finely honed and focussed media campaign was well timed and created a large number of ‘hits’ and ‘views’ online from day one. The eventual buyer emerged from those very early enquiries. Carol’s negotiating skills in conveying the unique value and character of our home to the buyer resulted in a successful and mutually satisfying outcome. Overall, our experience was very positive and relatively unstressed. We are very satisfied with the outcome and happy to recommend Carol to any homeowner wishing to sell their property.
R & G. Pietrzak - 49 Grosvenor Street, Wahroonga
Carol was absolutely amazing. Her communication fantastic and her passion and support is incredible. We felt so comfortable and at ease at all times, as we totally trusted her judgment with everything. Carol has an incredible knack of keeping the vendor and the buyer exceptionally happy. A very unique quality. Thank you for everything.
R & L Rossiter - 26 Scullin Place, North Wahroonga
It has been a very pleasant experience meeting Carol. Followed by asking her to be our Agent in the Sale of our Apartment. Carol has been outstanding in her role as our Agent. She has been tireless, and thorough in her efforts to bring about a quick and satisfactory sale: with contracts exchanged in 3 working days after the 1st Open House. Her knowledge, communications skills, and professionalism in her job made us the Vendors, (and also made the Purchasers) feel at ease when negotiating, and happy with the final outcome. Carol is a nice person and easy to get along with. She is an outstanding Real Estate Agent, and we have no hesitation in recommending her.
H & N Barro - 6/1625 Pacific Highway, Wahroonga
Carol was recommended to us as someone who could help us secure our first home together. RIght from day one, we knew we were in capable hands, as Carol had an intimate knowledge of the area and market. She was extremely proactive in working with us to identify potential properties, as well as helping us to review and evaluate the available options. Carol was fantastic at keeping us informed and we are beyond thrilled with our new home! We cannot recommend Carol highly enough!
E. McWhannell - 22 Amaroo Avenue, Wahroonga
I wish to thank you for the excellent job you did concerning the sale of 40 Myra St Wahroonga. At all times you provided prompt, highly professional expertise along with practical, logical and effective advice in preparing the property for sale and this paid off handsomely when a buyer was found on the first open day. When a few problems later emerged with this buyer your remarkable communication and negotiating skills guided us through to a successful conclusion at a most satisfactory price. The property had been in the family for 43 years so parting with it held many emotions. Your pleasant, caring and supportive approach helped us through what proved to be a very difficult time. We cannot thank you enough. Dealing with you was a delight and I have no hesitation in recommending you to any prospective real estate buyer or seller.
F. Robinson - 40 Myra Street, Wahroonga
We wanted to honour Carol as she had maintained contact with my mother for many years as at one point they had considered moving into a retirement facility and selling the home. Carol impressed then as friendly and helpful: not pushy Carol so understood our challenges of selling a house that had slid into partial disrepair due our parents advancing dementia and clearing out their massive amount of accumulated possessions they had never managed to sort. She became like a member of the family filling in the gaps with practical advice and actually sourcing services for essential work that needed to done on the house when it became all too hard for us. Her knowledge of the Wahroonga market and her expertise in both negotiating a fair price for all parties was impressive. Carol hit every target on her marketing timeline, beautifully set out in easy to read vendor packages. Above all I really appreciated her respectful attitude at all times.
A. Roberts - 16 Fadden Place, North Wahroonga
I am certainly delighted to recommend Carol. I was very happy with the outcome of our sale, even though the property market was extremely quiet at the time due to the GFC which made me very nervous.  We always ensured our property was presented immaculately, and our house was a real showcase (having featured in several magazines), but unfortunately we were on the "wrong side of the highway" according to some agents, and that kind of comment from other agents made me angry. Agents have to use the positives of a property, and "believe" in the house and its value, and not just take "instructions" from potential buyers about what they (the potential buyer) think the property is worth. Invariably buyers will talk down a properties value, so it is the agents job to discuss and represent the property (on the sellers behalf) in a positive, informed and professional way, and defend its value, and I really saw them do just that. They were always calm, reassuring and professional in their dealings, even when the settlement documents had a small hiccup on the day of exchange. Carol is realistic, determined and professional. I would not hesitate to use Chilton again.
J. Hendrik - 96 Lucinda Avenue, Wahroonga
From day one I was skillfully guided through the complex intricacies of the sale process. Carol kept in daily contact and were always available to answer any of my queries. The whole sale was conducted with exceptional energy, expertise and ultimate professionalism. Throughout the process I felt that Carol appreciated the fact that she was helping me sell a home- not a house. Not only did Chilton achieve an excellent price for my home, their assistance in my subsequent relocation has continued unabated. I have no hesitation in recommending the outstanding services of Carol to any potential vendor and would be happy to speak further on behalf of Chilton Real Estate.
A. White - 30 Kirkpatrick Street, North Turramurra
Vivien and I would like to thank you for managing the sale of our house in Gordon. Every aspect of the sale from our initial discussions presale through to the whole sale process and then the post-sale process – everything - was all very professionally handled and may I say, expertly concluded. I have to admit, I was somewhat naive in my understanding of what was involved in putting a house on the market and getting it through the sale process, but seeing the energy and passion that you personally put into getting us across the line and the assistance and advice that you constantly gave at every point along the sale process made me realize just how much you had our interests at heart. Make no mistake, selling a house is stressful at the best of times, but you certainly made it less so and the final outcome made me happy that you were in our corner.
I & V Campbell - 3 Darnley Street, Gordon
We have dealt with a few real estate agents in our lifetime. Carol was easily the most professional and proactive agent whose services we have used. In a difficult market she worked on prospective buyers relentlessly and was able to tease out that one offer we needed to sell. We highly recommend her.
E & K Kulk - 20 Glenwood Close, Wahroonga
It is now several months since you sold our family home at Wahroonga for Janelle and myself. I look back on the process and commend you for your patience, assistance and perseverance. Moving out of our home and preparing it for sale was not something we had experienced before, the way you managed the process and advised us on the way is still much appreciated. We are now enjoying life at the beach.
D & J Woodcock - 86 Carrington Street, Wahroonga
For those looking for an exceptional real estate agent I wholeheartedly recommend Carol Jonson of Chilton Real Estate. Ours was a difficult house to market in hard economic times. Two previous agents had tried and failed with a “sell it cheap, sell it fast” approach. Carol brought a greater and more sympathetic understanding of what was needed and was successful in completing the sale to purchasers who wanted to buy our particular house and at the best possible price in the prevailing climate. After the sale Carol offered and gave freely of her time to help find and arrange temporary accommodation for us. Carol’s professionalism, warmth and charm both during and after the sale was exceptional.
B J Evans - 121 Junction Lane, Wahroonga
When deciding to sell my property, I met and talked to a number of real estate agents. After careful consideration my choice proved correct in many ways. In our case the marital circumstances and market environment made for a challenging assignment, which was handled with great professionalism and empathy. Applying no pressure and always offering good advice, Carol guided my decision on the selling method, the price point and the level of advertising that I was comfortable with. I would also like to remark on the way Carol presented our property to prospective buyers and followed up diligently with them, keeping us informed at all stages.
M Mackrell, 55 Billyard Avenue, Wahroonga
I can honestly say that Carol Johnson is a passionate and committed real estate agent. Having to sell my parent’s house under difficult circumstances and in a short period of time; she was supportive, helpful and professional. From helping me find a painter, to providing furniture, to helping me network with other agents to acquire my first home, Carol was available and willing to help 24 hours a day. If I had to sell another property I would, without hesitation, have Carol present my home.
A Marsh - 19 Tristania Place, West Pymble
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for selling our property in Burns Road. We are over the moon with the result and your professionalism and ability to get the job done so quickly!! We had so many agents promise so many things over the years and you delivered on what you said you would and also went above and beyond what was required of you.
N & J Ryan - 129 Burns Road, Wahroonga
Angela and I would like to say thank you. You were the best person we have come across in our search for our new home. You have made the process very pleasant and less stressful.
G Lim - 93 Grosvenor Street, Wahroonga
Bob Howe has just advised me that Wahroonga Rotary will shortly be forwarding some funds to KYDS and PCYC that is a result of some creative fund raising you undertook for us recently. I love the way you have partnered with Rotary to "multiply the good" you are doing several times: harnessing Rotary's support to both help the home owner, and to help youth charities, is a unique way of achieving several positive outcomes for the community. Thank you in advance for the funding -- KYDS will be putting the money toward support for our core counselling service
